Michael Jacobsen is the Chairman of Tech Australia Advocates. He has bases in Sydney, London and Bratislava. Michael is a serial entrepreneur and co-founded businesses in entertainment and property. He was co-owner and international producer and marketing director of Dirty Dancing, recognised as one of the most successful live entertainment assets in the world. He was Chairman, developer and co-owner of many of the worlds leading entertainment and convention centres.
Michael has mentored at London’s Techstars, Level39 (fintech) and Start-Up Britain and is an advisor to Governments, boards and organisations internationally.
He is on the Entrepreneurial Leaders Advisory Board for the University of Technology Sydney. He authored the Business of Creativity (published in the UK) and Entrepreneurs, Mavericks and Empire Builders (published in Australia) and co-hosted business programme Nothing Ventured on Sky News Australia.
